Dragon Quest II [Switch] #14, Victory Tour End; Final Scenes and Credits

This is video #14 in my playthrough of Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line for the Nintendo Switch. Dragon Quest II [Switch] Playlist:    • Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legenda...   Previously, the party infiltrated Hargon's Castle. After defeating Hargon's minions, they defeated Hargon himself. Then, they defeated the true final boss, Malroth. Afterwards, they began their victory tour in Beran and Slewse. Now, they will continue their victory tour. The party resumes outside of Slewse. Next, they Zoom to Burrowell. They chat with the NPCs there. When they are done in Burrowell, they sail east to the Fire Shrine. They teleport to the shrine north of Beran, where there is an NPC to chat with. From the shrine north of Beran, they check Gwaelin's Gate southwest of Cannock and the tunnel west of Moonbrooke. Back at the Fire Shrine, the party checks the shrine near Rippleport and the shrine in southeastern Alefgard. Next, the party Zooms to Zahan on the southeastern island. They chat with the NPCs there. Then, the party Zooms to Dirkandor. They use the teleportal there to check at the shrine south of Midenhall. They Zoom back to Dirkandor afterwards to chat with the remaining NPCs. Afterwards, the party Zooms to Tantegel. When they talk to the king upstairs in the armoury, he relocates to the throne room. Next, the party sails south to Charlock. When they go downstairs, they are automatically taken to the bottom level so they can talk to the Dragonlord's descendant. Megalomaniacal tendencies seem to run in that family. Then, the party Zooms to Rippleport. A few of the NPCs here have unique dialogue. Afterwards, the party Zooms to Moonahan. The tombola person will give them a Tombola Ticket. Uh ... thanks. The party heads southwest from Moonahan to Moonbrooke Castle. A scene takes place when they talk to the spirit of the king. Next, the party Zooms to Cannock. A few NPCs here have unique dialogue, including Thomas of Cannock's sister and the king. Then, the party Zooms to Leftwyne. They can play tombola here. There is also a Moonbrooke soldier here with dialogue for Isolde of Moonbrooke. The party Zooms back to Zahan. They sail south to the shrine northeast of Midenhall and talk with the priest there. They also chat with NPCs in the Wellspring Cave. Afterwards, the party Zooms to Dirkandor. They sail north from there to the Shrine of Rubiss. When they reach the bottom floor, Rubiss has some dialogue for them. Finally, the party Zooms to Midenhall. There are only a couple of NPCs on the first floor. Most of the NPCs are up in the throne room. When Davilas approaches the king, the party will split up, and he will have a rare opportunity to chat with Thomas and Isolde. The final scene takes place when Davilas talks to the King. Good stuff. After the scenes, the credits roll. This game's credits theme is fantastic, though with Sugiyama as composer, that almost goes without saying. This is a fantastic rerelease of the game. The addition of the Zoom list is an excellent quality-of-life enhancement. It also feels like characters level up faster than in the NES version, which helps when preparing for the endgame. It is almost too bad that they did not incorporate the bag feature of other games, but the bank works well enough. The Road to Rendarak is still a slog, but it doesn't feel nearly as bad as it did on the NES. I have enjoyed replaying this game on the Switch, and I hope that you have enjoyed watching.
