With the Strategy's tube preamp set to offer some drive of it's own, MESA's Flux-Drive distortion pedal is a great match plugged into the front-end of the Strategy with higher gain settings to showcase pedal distortion sounds. Voice 5 offers an aggressive Bass and Treble Boost with Mid scoop well tailored for gain & punch. This riff also features the Graphic EQ being footswitched in at the second half of the clip with a significant mid scoop centered at 600hz for further punchy, low-mid emphasis. The lowest three Bass sliders on the Graphic EQ are boosted for added width across the low end. Low Power uses just TWO KT-88 power tubes to add power section drive in addition to tube preamp and pedal gain. This combo is just waiting for rock attack with a pick (or fingers).
