On this Episode Of Daily Mirror with Nivedhana Prabhu, we discuss the Supreme Court has decision to deny a woman’s request to terminate her 27-week-old pregnancy, saying it cannot violate the law that allows abortion only up to 24 weeks in case of fetal abnormalities or risk to the mother’s life. The Court based its decision on a medical report that stated that the fetus is viable and can survive outside the womb. The Court also said that it cannot use its extraordinary powers under Article 142 of the Constitution to do complete justice in every case.
