We often get asked if we feel safe living on the road. The answer is, it really depends. There are so many factors that go into being safe living in a van, including weather, road conditions, people, and freak accidents. In this travel vlog, we are overlanding a very remote backcountry road in Southern Utah, where things could go wrong really quickly. We find a great place to camp and talk about how we make sure we stay safe in the van, before some odd things start to happen. We explore the beautiful Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Hole in the Road Road, Cosmic Ashtray, and many other sights along the way. With the proper planning and precautions, backcountry destinations like this can be safe and fun to explore.
