Step into Srishti Bakshi's transformative 2,300-mile journey across India. Over 240 days, she bravely highlights the urgent issue of gender-based violence and champions the cause of women's safety. This walk is more than a physical challenge; it's a heartfelt quest for change, each step echoing a powerful message of resilience and hope. Srishti Bakshi is a women’s-rights-advocate, who embarked on an on-foot journey of 3,800 kilometres over 240 days across India to sensitize citizens to the gender-based violence and inequality in her country. She met over 80000 women and conducted over 100 workshops focused on women’s safety and encouraging them to be financially independent. Her documentary WOMB Women of My Billion, has been featured in over 15 prestigious international film festivals and has won 11 audience choice awards. Srishti now directly engages with grassroots’ initiatives which advances resilient livelihoods for women.
