The Perfect Mid-Range Smartphone? | Vivo V70 Review

Reviewing the Vivo V70, my favourite mid-range smartphone of 2026 thanks to its thoughtful upgrades. Sure, it's no big evolution over the V60. But the Vivo V70 boasts impressive camera tech, some of the best battery life around, respectable gaming chops and great features. OriginOS has its quirks, but otherwise it's hard to find fault with this affordable smartphone. Oh, except that it should be easier to actually bloody buy the thing in the UK. The Vivo V70 serves up a mostly premium phone experience, starting with a flexible and dependable camera. That main sensor is good across a range of conditions, only faltering in particularly cack light and with unpredictable subjects. Battery life is easily good enough to satisfy the most demanding users, too. If you're into gaming on your smartphone, the Vivo V70 should keep you happy too. Wuthering Waves occasionally stumbles a wee bit, especially on longer game sessions. However, given the lack of optimisation, it plays rather well.
