JOIN BROADCAST PLAZA TODAY, DISCORD'S MEDIA DISCUSSION COMMUNITY — http://bit.ly/S31MA Here's a complete composite of opens and a (very obviously pre-recorded) morning news cut-in from the NBC affiliate serving South Central Michigan including the state capital and principal city Lansing, city of license Onondaga, and Jackson. This features their new graphics introduced Monday, August 30, 2021 on the morning newscast. All of these were recorded that day except for the morning open and cut-in, which came on Tuesday the 31st. WILX is currently a Gray Media Group station. This is another standard Gray Graphics Hub package that has been rolling to stations within the past couple of years. I don't know the name of it. The 1996 logo remains in use but recolored from a dark blue to a red, making it look eerily similar to sister station KFDA in Amarillo (who also uses this same graphics pack). Voiceover and music are unchanged. That's Jeff Rechner and The Tower V.5 respectively. Also included is the open to mid-afternoon lifestyle show "Studio 10", which doesn't use the same package as the newscasts. They also spared us from a ripoff of the Studio 10 Australia logo (unlike Charleston, WV sister station WSAZ) which is what I feared their logo would be when I was made aware that's what the 4pm show was called. Anchors are Mallory Anderson, meteorologist Justin Bradford, Holly Harper, Stephanie McCoy, and David Andrews.
