I usually Have Andrew or Dominic do this but, I went ahead and did this one myself This is a three tab shingle, 19 years old, insurance company gave repairs, I believe that repairs would be impossible without destroying surrounding shingles After being at the large job yesterday, and seeing the conditions that repairing all three tabs leaves the surrounding shingles in, I feel this more than ever should be done properly whether the insurance covers it, or the homeowner covers it Yesterday we were out on a job that we have done three tab shingle repairs on two weeks ago and surrounding shingles had actually blown off and this is not one where I get any benefit from being non-repairable, so I just had to repair again and then hand sealed everything
