’Kids Were MURDERED During Lockdown’ | Boris Johnson Admits Covid-19 Failures For Children

Boris Johnson told the Covid Inquiry that lockdown rules “probably went too far” for children, who paid a “huge price” to protect others. The former PM said he regretted closing schools, calling it a “nightmare idea” that harmed poorer pupils and left many without proper education. He admitted the government’s exam grading system “let down a lot of kids” and caused chaos. Johnson said he wished children had been exempt from some social distancing rules, adding: “They were not particularly vulnerable to Covid but paid a huge price to protect others.” He also revealed he was in a “homicidal mood” over the grading fiasco, blaming the Department for Education for failures.
