This is the final part of my reaction to Me Against the World, and oh boy, what a ride this has been. I thought I knew Tupac. I was wrong. Yes, I know the popular songs like Dear Mama, and in high school, I found Only God Can Judge Me and literally had to play it every single day, but that's as far as I went. Listening to Me Against the World seriously deepened my appreciation for Pac, and I can now understand why so many love and respect him to this day. I said in part one that I'm a Tupac stan, but I'm not certified just yet. Based on your feedback, I haven't even begun to understand who he was and the work he's done, and to be honest, that just excites me! In this part of the reaction, I listen to Can U Get Away, Old School, Fuck the World, Death Around the Corner, and Outlaw. Can U Get Away - It's kinda funny that both parts two and three caught me with love songs.I enjoyed this so much and I can totally understand why the women of the time were just on him. Old School - was an absolute banger. A time piece, but also giving the old timers and those who laid the foundation for the art form their flowers. Tupac definitely surprises me with his range here, and I am pleased to see this coming from him of all people. It just goes to show how much of a student he was and how much he loved his craft. Fuck the World—I didn't comment on this in the reaction, but I thought that the chorus, "They're trying to say that I don't care woke up and screamed. Fuck the world." was amazing. He was saying that he did care, and then he took the time to contextualize his experience of who he was and what influenced him. I absolutely love that song. Death Around the Corner is simply phenomenal. I don't even know what to say about it to be real with you. I was blown away, to say the least. Outlaw - I never die, thug niggas multiply. What more is there to say? I feel like in every multiverse, parallel universe, timeline, whatever you wanna call it, Tupac exists. How can life make sense without him? I just hope that in one of the alternate dimensions he lives, that maybe he doesn't experience all the pain he did with us here, and that somehow those of us who truly appreciate him are all there with him. Perhaps that's what they call heaven. Thank you all so much for the love you've shown me throughout these reactions, clearly this is a small channel with less that 70 subscribers, but all I want to do is to experience good music and connecting with people who really want to not just see me react to stuff, but want to educate me on why they find it valuable means so much to me. Thank you to all of you who've hit subscribe. I really feel like I've found a family with all y'all 💚 🎧 Want to suggest something? Drop it in the comments.
