December 5th 2015 USS Harry S. Truman arrived off the coast of Split, Croatia, for a four-day visit. USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) is the eighth Nimitz-class aircraft carrier of the United States Navy, named after the 33rd President of the United States, Harry S. Truman. The ship's callsign is "Lone Warrior" This is not the first visit of an US aircraft carrier to Split, but they are rare. The last carrier visit was USS Enterprise in 2006.
