Niche Down Use a hobby or interest that you are knowledgeable in. Niche down further. Start solving/advising on specific problems inside of your main niche. You have to answer questions that people are searching for. Type a question you had into google and see how well it was answered. If you find the videos to be too broad create a video that answers that question. 2. Thumbnails: Youtube wants to play "The Game" "The Game" is creating a thumbnail that is clickbait. Youtube wants these types of thumbnails because they receive more clicks. More clicks = More views. Be creative with your elements and text. Use cliffhanger sentences that make the viewer want to watch your video. The goal is to create anticipation. Making the viewer wonder what your video is about based on the thumbnail gets them to click it. And a higher CTR (click-through rate) the more youtube will recommend your videos to an audience. Create 2-3 thumbnails per video and see which one creates the most interest for you. 3. Research First Before creating your video, check and make sure there is a demand for it. The plugin will automatically tell you the activity, keywords, and much more. There is a great video that explains what this plugin does in the link I provided. 4. Retention Now that your first video is created and posted, how are you going to retain the audience that watched your video? We'll need some call to actions in video. Make sure you are saying in the video " if this video helped let me know by... subscribing, clicking the like button, leaving a comment, etc. When you upload your video to youtube, you'll be prompted to add a title, description, thumbnail, and keywords. Make sure you are using keywords throughout your description. You want to use both short and long tail key words. On the next page you'll be prompted to add cards and an end screen. This is where viewers can click on the button in the video to subscribe or watch your next video. 5. Watch Competing Videos In The Same Niche Go through their channel. What questions are they answering? What videos performed well and why? Make a video on that topic and answer the question with a few more tips and pointers you know will help the viewer. 6. Create Evergreen Focus on content for today, tomorrow, and a year from now. Make sure it's something that attracts new audiences constantly.
