I sat down at my kitchen table and zeroed my rifle again, but now with using math and you can too! Watch this short video (and read below) to learn how. I could’ve explained somethings a little better. So read below for some clarification on what I discussed in this video. Note: Measure your paper distance from the scope turrets not the muzzle. The center of the reticle to the center of the bore is 1.75” I’m zeroing to 100 yards so I divide 1.75” by 100 which equals 0.0175. This means over every yard of travel, the gap between my scope center and my bore center decreases by 0.0175” until it reaches 0 (100yards). So at 1 yard, the gap between the marks on my paper should be 1.7325” to mimic that decrease. And at 1.5 yards that gap should be 1.72375”. Unfortunately, my digital calipers need a new battery or I definitely would have used them to set this measurement.
