I continue to explore with a severely altered hand...so many questions about so many aspects of my work remain. In this particular video, I was working hard to use restraint (my omnipresent nod to Pauline Oliveros and Ryuichi Sakamoto) and trying to find melody and note relationships without the use of chords. Because I can't play them at present. About five hours after filming this, I was lying in bed, shaking violently with the onset of Covid, the gentle fluidity of these sounds, a distant memory. I so enjoyed cutting in some footage over my last improvisation, that I decided to do the same here, working in ten minute spurts once I was able (after 5 days) to sit up for a bit.
