Popular singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya in a recent interaction revealed why he stopped singing for Shah Rukh Khan after his 2007 film Om Shanti Om. Abhijeet and Shah Rukh Khan have collaborated on over 30 songs in Bollywood and their collaboration became successful in most of the films. In a recent interaction, Abhijeet answered a fan’s question about reuniting with Shah Rukh. Abhijeet can be heard saying that he is not Shah Rukh Khan’s voice and when he performs abroad, people who don’t know that the songs are not sung by actors but by playback singers, think that he sings like Shah Rukh Khan. They think SRK is a singer. He also added that many music directors wanted to create a rift between him and Shah Rukh. Abhijeet further claimed that it was his songs that made Akshay Kumar a star.
