This trio formation enjoys great success, particularly in Germany, Austria, Italy, and Switzerland, with an almost endless series of sold-out concerts. He is accompanied by Marco Stagni (double bass and electric bass), a musician with a background in jazz and classical music, and Mario Punzi (percussion and drums), one of Italy’s most important virtuoso drummers. The three musicians have grown together musically and create a genuine dialogue in which the three instruments merge into a single entity. From the softest, most delicate tones to fiery flamenco rhythms, there is hardly a mood the trio does not stage with passion. The concert features many new compositions that blend a wide variety of musical styles—such as flamenco, Italian folk music, bossa nova, and African influences—into an original and distinctive musical cocktail. This music, like the South itself, enchants with romantic landscapes and Mediterranean charm, fiery rhythms, and ecstatic melodies that make the soul dance.
