The Abbey Arms Pub, in Plaistow London E13. Part 1, of our Plaistow to Stratford on foot tour. Filmed on Friday 19th May 2023. Join me, firstly "as we delve back into the past" & see images of this little bit of Plaistow & The Abbey Arms Pub, as it originally was in 1742 "when it was called The Crown." Then, a little further on in history, for some early 20th century images. Then we cross over the Barking Road, & pop into The Abbey = for a tour & a drink. + I had a chat with the two lovely ladies, working in there = talking about the pub's history + some odd/paranormal things, which have been seen in there, over the years. It's so nice to see a traditional old London Pub "still going strong + such a lovely welcome & atmosphere inside 👌. And, this starts us off for the day, with the Plaistow to Stratford, tour series.
