At Hope Biosciences Research Foundation, we believe in science in service – that is, in judging the merit of clinical research by who and how it helps both now and in the future. We believe one patient is a beginning, and a strong enough foundation to support a body of research that can truly inform the way we approach healthcare. The Compassionate Use Program is an FDA- authorized special program that allows HBRF to serve and study individuals and small groups with severe or life-threatening conditions who do not qualify for clinical trials. This video was originally shown at Hope Gala 2024, which brought more than 400 attendees to the Post Oak Hotel in Houston, Texas on Saturday, October 26 th , 2024, to celebrate hundreds of patients served, billions of stem cells administered, and the community that makes it all possible, and raised more than $1M to support continued impactful work. HBRF is the only organization in the world exploring the effects of high volume, sustained application of adult stem cells on diseases and conditions that currently have no cure and affect substantial global populations. The strategic goal of HBRF’s research suite is to advance FDA- regulated biotechnology with real promise both to meet the treatment needs of suffering people by restoring their quality of life, and meet the broader need for affordable, accessible, sustainable long-term therapies that reduce the fiscal burden facing America's medical and social systems.
