Paul Weller invited Kev to play Wild Wood with him at Hammersmith Apollo on Wednesday 19th December. Paul invited Kev after Kev told him about his little 5-year old mate Josh Dawson from Hartlepool who has brain cancer. You can read Josh's story on his website www.joshdawson.co.uk All he wants to do it go to Legoland in Florida, that's it, nothing else is on his innocent little mind other than that Kev had lost his own daughter Katie in different circumstances a few year ago and works as a Resuscitation Officer in Tyneside, northern England and puts his efforts into helping sick children and their families not only at work, but also by fundraising The people of Hartlepool led by Jo Winter and her partner John have been raising funds to send Josh to Legoland in Florida in 2013 after his radiotherapy, and the response has been amazing. They approached Kev and Bri from The Style Selektors to do a fundraising gig but the guys were booked but wanted to do something to help raise funds. Kev's son Tom said why didnt he contact Paul with a view to him doing something, so he did, and when Paul heard of Josh's plight he invited Kev to come play with him and have it filmed with a view to using the film reaching a wider audience and hopefully raise more funds for Josh. Paul had a link to Josh's website www.joshdawson.co.uk on his own website www.paulweller.com and since then we have had pledges from the USA, Italy and Japan which is totally amazing. After you read Josh's story, please take time to look at his website www.joshdawson.co.uk or Paul Wellers website www.paulweller.com with a view to making a donation to help Josh go to Legoland in Florida in 2013
