An adult spin on a super-easy family recipe for delicious banana muffins - this video for beginners walks you through how to make your own delicious edibles, by adding (finely ground) dried bud to the mix. Ingredients (for 12 muffins): 1 cup (2 large or 3 medium-small) bananas 3 g of dried marijuana (finely ground) ½ cup of butter or margarine 1 ½ cups of flour 1 cup of sugar 1 tsp of baking soda (not baking powder) 1 egg 1 tsp of vanilla extract 1 tbsp of hot water (optional) a handful of chocolate chips Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 325 F 2. In 1 bowl, let butter/margarine and bananas sit at room temp for a bit, then smoosh together 3. In a separate bowl, stir the dry ingredients together and then add it to the bananas & butter 4. Add egg, vanilla extract, and hot water – blending carefully, at first, then mix rigorously 5. (optional) add the chocolate chips and stir again 6. Pour contents into a non-stick muffin pan (cups are best) and bake for 25-30 mins (check after 25 mins) 7. Muffins are finished if the tops have browned and they spring back, when lightly poked 8. Let cool for 10 mins and then enjoy! ** Please note: This recipe will put ~1/4 g (250mg) of marijuana in each muffin. If you're a novice or new to edibles, eating HALF of a muffin should do the trick. Just make sure to wait 45-90 mins before eating more, as the amount of food in your stomach can delay the onset of the high, and the strength of the marijuana used and your tolerance will also play a factor. I wasn't planning on filming this, originally, but thought I'd share, since weed's legal in Canada, but edibles aren't (not until next year). So, nothing was scripted and it was done in one take (my apologies for the repetitive parts ;). Enjoy!
