Prophet Ibrahim and King Ararah: The Test of Honor and Divine Protection (15)

As Ibrāhīm and Sarah journey to their new destination, they pass through the territory of the Egyptian king, ʿArārah. A curious tax collector, eager to investigate the litter on Ibrāhīm's camel, discovers Sarah and brings them before the king. When the king insists on touching Sarah, Ibrāhīm prays to God for protection, and God halts the king's hand. Impressed by the power and honor of Ibrāhīm’s God, King ʿArārah offers Ibrāhīm an Egyptian maid, Hājar, as a gift. Ibrāhīm and his companions continue their journey and settle in Hebron, where Ibrāhīm begins preaching to those passing by about the worship of God. He later sends Lūṭ to warn the people of Sodom about their sinful ways.
