Here are four train by Union Interlocking in Chicago. I was going past Western Ave station West of here and noticed the rear end of a coal train being held on the main, which meant it would be moving soon, so I chased it here. It began climbing the St. Charles Air Line to reach the CN Chicago Sub. CN would then take the train to Consumers' Power in Michigan. As it heads up the grade, an outbound Metra passes. Then, as the coal train continues to pass, another loaded coal train shows up and takes the South Leg of the wye onto the NS Chicago Line, which it will take to Detroit Edison in Michigan. Both trains pause briefly, then continue. As the rear DPU on the first train comes into view, an inbound Metra heads toward Union Station. The DPU is an ex-BN SD70MAC. Finally, the DTE coal train continues around the wye.
