In 2007, the very first steps were taken to connect Jeju’s oreum (volcanic cones) and the sea. Eighteen years later, Jeju Olle has grown into a trail that connects not only the nature and people of Jeju, but the entire world. Over the past 18 years and along 27 routes totaling 437 kilometers, we’ve met neighbors in village alleys, found comfort in the sea and forests, and built new cultures by walking in solidarity with trails around the world.
