80's Vintage BSR EQ-3000 From e Bay A Good Deal Or Not?

I want a good hands-on real world equalizer to put between a source and my computer for saving and beefing up some old cassettes and open reel tapes soon. I thought a BSR EQ-3000 would be perfect for the job with it's 10 band per channel spectrum controls, and all the level and switch controls, and spectra graph to help build and shape a good sound to master to digital wave or mp 3 files. Trolling e-Bay, I made a deal for a good price on one that looked good and supposedly works. Did I get a good deal or a dud on this 40 year old BSR EQ-3000 Equalizer?
