How to connect Shelly 2.5 in UK to wall switch. Make sure the device is linked to the cloud. The 1 st time this happened automatically during my initial set up but when I had the power off for to long when I was re trimming the wires to fit everything into the pattress box more easily, I had to re-pair the device with my phone and link it to the cloud myself. I assume you have downloaded the Shelly app and set up an account. To link to the cloud go into Internet/security settings, scroll to bottom of screen, click enable cloud. You can then control the Shelly when you are not at home. If you are deciding between this and a Sonoff device, get this, I initially had a sonoff wall switch, but the pairing with my phone was a nightmare with Sonoff, just like several other reviews I read stated. Pairing the shelly device happened 1st time every time. Plus it is the smallest device of its kind at the moment. I would say the only downside is, it takes a while to get help from Shelly, I emailed them and it took about 5 days to reply. Seems to be help via Facebook, I really dislike Facebook and have no idea how to use it, i thought I posted something on there, but don't think I had a reply. Oh also they cost a lot more in this country, in there actual website it says €9!! Much more reasonable.
