Alexis Eastman, MD, Clinical Assistant Professor, Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology in the UW-Madison Department of Medicine presents a clinical update on prescribing medications for geriatric patients, for whom issues such as polypharmacy and age-related changes in metabolic efficiency are key considerations. Dr. Eastman is a geriatrician and was selected as a 2016 Top Doctor in Madison by Madison Magazine. The title of her October 14, 2016 Grand Rounds talk is "Danger Everywhere? What's New in Geriatric Prescribing." University of Wisconsin Department of Medicine Grand Rounds are presented throughout the academic year and are intended for health care professionals and medical researchers.
