WE TRIED TO SNEAK INTO THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL 😲🚓 | ROAD TO ISTANBUL VLOG 🇹🇷📹 | Day 3

This is our best vlog yet 💙🦾 In the third & final day of our Road to Istanbul Vlog series, we take you with us on our adventurous journey to Atatürk Olympic Stadium. A trip that would usually take 1 hour by public transport and 35 minutes by taxi ended up taking 4 hours and costing us 5 times the amount (and had us almost walking for 1 hour and 15 minutes). Make sure you watch till the end to see how we narrowly escaped the same fate on the way back 😅 We had initially bought tickets for the game for £675 each (which is actually very reasonable for a Champions League final. But we have learnt this season that even if you have paid for the ticket, it’s only yours once you are through those ticket barriers. We later came to find out that the ticket reseller we used to acquire the tickets, had sold the tickets to a higher bidder closer to the day of the final. That left us with not many options of actually watching the game, and as we had made it to the stadium, we thought to do our best to get in!!! We also wanted to capture the travelling Man City and Inter fans, but it was the Turkish fans we met who were nothing short of amazing. The passion, the joy, the love and appreciation they have for the game we all love was clear to see. We were right in the thick of it! The police were trying to clear the fans away from the stadium and it was becoming mission impossible to get the fans’ reactions, but as usual, and in true ​⁠​⁠ style we did it; and created mad scenes doing it! Watch the madness that unfolded as we were being forced away from the stadium by the Turkish police here:    • TURKISH POLICE STOP US RECORDING AT ATATUR...   A truly unbelievable experience in Istanbul… We were in Istanbul for the Champions League Final between Internazionale Milano and Manchester City. Amongst other teams, we have followed Manchester City very closely this season and so we wanted to round it off by coming to Istanbul for the final.
