Join Amy of All Well Workshop (@allwellworkshop) to learn how to make bias strips using the quickest and most satisfying technique — continuous bias binding! Bias binding is one of the most handy sewing finishing methods for all sorts of applications (not just quilts!!) and buying it can really add up! For a perfect match to your project and the most cost-effective option, it’s really easy to make your own! You can start with any size square. The larger the square, the more bias binding you'll end up with. In this video I started with a 12" x 12" square which made about 11 feet of bias binding! You can make bias strips to match your project. Make sure to choose fabric that isn't too shifty or stretchy -- I like using mid-weight cotton best!
