How to Play Scat

Directions: The goal of this game is to have a sum of three cards equal as close to 31 as possible. Each player is dealt 3 cards. The remaining cards are placed in the draw pile with the top card flipped over. Players can choose to select the top card from the draw pile, or the top card from the discard pile (if a discard pile is there) and exchange it for a card in their hand. They then put the card from their hand into the discard pile. When a player thinks they are as closer to 31 then any other player, they knock signaling they last round for each player. After each player completes the last round of play, they add their 3 cards. Whoever has the largest sum closest to 31 wins. Face cards equal 10, aces equal 11, all other cards are their value.
