Welcome to my journey in becoming financially responsible and secure and being more intentional with our money 🤍🤍🤍 I hope you enjoy the video! Please consider subscribing 🥰🤍 In today’s video I am cash stuffing our joint expenses, savings and sinking funds for the month of October... not as much money to cash stuffing this month as we have used quite a bit to do some, much needed, improvements on our camper van. 🤍 ————————————— If you would like to follow me on Instagram - @taomebudgets TikTok - @taome.budgets 🥰 ——————————————— If you would like to try Monzo my referral link is - https://join.monzo.com/c/x6jm9m8f ————————————————— The story behind it all… A few years ago myself and my partner decided we did not want to be a part of this consumer world we were in and decided to sell our home and move back in with my parents at the age of 28, along with our golden retriever… This was not an easy decision but it was the only way we would be able to see our dreams come true. We spent 2 years on an extremely low budget saving every penny we could in order to sell our home and our car. We bought an ex delivery van and converted it on a budget into a camper van! We managed to save up enough money to buy the van outright saving us thousands in interest. We now have 0 finance loans and the only debt we have left are student loans 🙌🏼🍾🎉 Our dream is to eventually both be able to work remotely and travel the world in our ‘ex delivery’ Camper van! However, we are getting married next year so we are trying to balance saving for that but also saving for our long term travel goals. We have not always been organised with our money… when we were younger we lived pay day to pay day with our money… We had cars on finance, credit cards, a mortgage and we had no savings whatsoever! We decided to make a change starting with becoming debt free, creating an emergency fund, a 3-6 month buffer and also investing our money to make sure our long term future is secure. *I am not a financial advisor. This is my own experience of building a better relationship with money and becoming more financially aware.* #budgetwithme #budgeting #cashstuffing #savings #money #savingchallenges #financialfreedom
