It has very minimal sinkage and moderate levels of bounce. This mattress is offered in a single firmness, 6 out of 10 and with a medium-firm feel (this is the version we tested). But there is an older version of the Vesteroy as well (with a light blue cover) that has two additional firmnesses—firm (8) or extra firm (9). It’s unclear for how much longer this older version is going to be sold for. In our performance tests, the IKEA Vesteroy has below average performance, with an overall score of only 7.03. Comapring over 245+ mattresses tested to date, this puts the IKEA Verseroy in the bottom 2% of all mattresses tested to date. While the price is extremely low, only $199 for a queen mattress, the extremely low performance makes it impossible to recommend for any sleepers, especially full-grown adults.
