Description: You open the box. There's the product, a charging cable, and a piece of paper the size of a business card that says "Download the app." That's it. That's your instruction manual. No setup guide. No troubleshooting steps. No explanation of what any of the buttons do. Just a QR code and the assumption that you'll figure it out on your own. Or Google it. Or watch some random YouTube video and hope that person knows what they're talking about. We used to get real manuals. Thick books that explained every feature, every setting, every possible problem and how to fix it. Now we get nothing. Companies have decided that instructions are optional. That teaching you how to use the thing you just paid for is too expensive. So they cut the manual, save 50 cents per unit, and make you do the work of teaching yourself. In this video I'm breaking down the top 10 things that used to come with actual instructions and now just assume you'll figure it out. From furniture with useless picture-only guides to electronics that say "download the app" and nothing else, from medication with microscopic unreadable text to software with zero tutorials. We've been abandoned at the moment of purchase and told to teach ourselves. And the worst part? We've accepted it. We don't even expect instructions anymore. We just pull out our phones and Google it. And companies love that because they've outsourced their responsibility to the internet. To random people making free YouTube tutorials. To forum posts from 2019. To Reddit threads where someone says "I fixed it" with no explanation of how. You shouldn't have to Google how to use something you just bought. The company should teach you. That's their job. But they've shifted that work onto us and called it "empowerment." If you've ever spent an hour trying to set up something that should've taken ten minutes because the instructions were useless or nonexistent, this video is for you.
