Hello my friends and welcome to my review of the new ePropulsion eLite electric outboard motor. I was very lucky to get my hands on one of these ultralight motors and I have been using it on everything from my 17'6 tripping canoe to my 20' freighter-- but I've been most exited to try it out on my lightweight 14' Clipper Packer. The motor and canoe together weigh about 50 pounds total, and I was pretty certain it was going to be a great pairing for a range test on the local Sumas River Canal. Unfortunately I got snagged up in a lot of weeds, so I think my efficiency suffered a bit throughout the test. That being said, I still think it performed admirably in the conditions. I don't have a lot of experience with outboard motors but this was the perfect size to do some quiet cruising and exploring. the ePropulsion eLite is my new favourite thing. Let me know if you have any questions about this packable and powerful new motor 👍 Chapters: 0:00 - Setting up 0:13 - Drawing a crowd, explaining the eLite 1:14 - Getting on the water 1:50 - Setting up the motor, losing a paddle 2:27 - First revs 2:41 - Initial thoughts 3:36 - ePropulsion eLite speed test 4:18 - Quiet and powerful 4:35 - Starting from a stop 5:06 - App check 5:27 - Crusing with the ePropulsion eLite 5:55 - Snagged in some weeeds 6:33 - Taking a break 6:54 - Cleaning the prop 7:09 - Drone shots 8:12 - On our way back 8:42 - App check 8:57 - Going with the current 9:50 - Test results & final thoughts Thanks for watching! follow my adventures on ig: instagram.com/trumanthecanoeman
