UUPUMUS JA ELÄMÄNMUUTOS →    • UUPUMUS JA ELÄMÄNMUUTOS   ---------------------------------------------------------------- V E G A N macaroni casserole 400g (wholegrain) macaroni + 2l water and a great splash of vegetable fond for seasoning A glob of margarine for frying One big onion 2dl dark soy groats 3,5dl water 0,5dl soy sauce 1 tbl vegetable fond about 1-2 tbl mustard for seasoning few flips of black pepper from grinder salt according to your own taste "egg milk" 8dl oat cream 0,5-1 tb black salt, kala namak (The more you put black salt the more it tastes like egg) Boil the (wholegrain) macaroni well-done in a in the right amount of water with the fond, about 8 mins. Drain the macaroni into a greased, big casserole. Chop the onion and saute it in a glob of margarine. Boil water (with a kettle) and pour it among to the soy groats. Add also the soy sauce and fond to soy groats. Let that swell up about 10 mins. If necessary drain in a strainer. Add mustard and chopped onion to that mixture. Check the taste and salt if necessary. Many soy sauces have already much salt so it might not be necessary to add it more. Add ready soy "minced meat" among macaroni and mix well. Mix all the ingredients of the "egg milk" with a whisk. Pour the "egg milk" over the casserole.
