Κι ὅμως κι ἐσὺ μ᾿ ἀγάπησες βαθύτατα, τὸ νιώθω καὶ ξέρω ἀκόμα πὼς συχνὰ μοῦ το ῾χες ὁρκιστεῖ, πὼς ὅσο κι ἂν μαραίναμε τὸ πρῶτο μας τὸ πόθο, θὰ μέναμε πιστοί! Μιᾶς καὶ δὲν ἦταν νὰ σταθεῖς σὲ ῾κεῖνα πού ῾χες τάξει, τότε γιατὶ τὸ λόγο αὐτὸ μ᾿ ἀνάγκασες νὰ πῶ; Τὸν ὅρκο σου τὸν πάτησες, μὰ ῾γὼ δὲν ἔχω ἀλλάξει: Ἀκόμα σ᾿ ἀγαπῶ!
