Here's a rather complicated story of a knife I actually love... if its manufacturer could produce it without glaring defects. The Knives of Alaska Featherlight Hunter is a superb lightweight folding hunter design. It's blade shape and size, materials and ergonomics make it a nearly perfect tool for its intended role. However, the example before you in this video has two rather horrendous defects, especially for a knife in this price range, one human error and one an engineering problem, which for me give it "not recommended" status. We'll try to monitor the progress of the knife's owner, Chris, as he works with KOA's customer service folks to bring about some resolution, and to correct the process problems which produced this seriously flawed execution of a great design.
