Chiefs in North Western Province have called on Government to review the Mining Policy to include provisions where 15-percent of proceeds from Mining firms will remain in host Provinces. Chief MUMENA of the Kaonde People said this on behalf of 7- Traditional Leaders who met President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA in Kalumbila District, on the sidelines of the launch of the Enterprise Nickel Mine. And President HICHILEMA guided Traditional Leaders in the Province to convene a meeting with Mining investors and the local communities in order to find an amicable solution to challenges they are faced with.
