A video of Manifestation of Marty getting destroyed with everything that can be used to make the fight easier. Theres alot going on with this fight and its pretty damn hard in normal gamplay. Despite this there are alot of ways to make this fight alot easier. I'm using my usual overpowered setup, max level, max stats, best equipment, best healing items and the best team composition for this fight. Nern can be used to cheese this fight by making Marty pissed, normally he will grab and perma kill one of your party members on the 5th turn but when hes pissed he will only do a basic attack at a random target. This heavily extends the time you have to deal alot of damage to him before needing escape and redo the mob fights. Speaking of dealing damage using joy heavily increases the damage you deal and makes you practically undefeatable. I made a discovery that you can actually use joy in this fight despite many people believing otherwise. The game takes away all your joy in Brads nightmare sequence but you can actually leave the sequence for the superboss and end up back in the normal game. From there you can pick up joy from any source and the game will let you use it in the fight without removing it. My guess is that this is an oversight from the devs sense they probably never expected someone to leave the fight and do this. I discovered this joy exploit because i played my save file to avoid Buzzo's second choice between losing Brad's arm or his items by only picking up manditory items then going back and picking everything back up. I didn't go back to get all the joy at that point and wondered what would happen if i went into the fight and left, then got all the joy. Thats how i discovered this fun little oversight which allows for Marty to be hit where it really hurts.
