Trainz A New Era: New Route | Preview

Welcome to the Pennsylvania & Ohio Railroad route. This is my first time building a route of any substance/size in Trainz a new era. This route is set during the closing year of what has become known as the transition era i.e. mid to late 1950’s. I have used items from Trainz download station, Jointed Rail and K&L trains, as well as many other small freeware providers. I thank them for their kindness. This route has it all, docks, industries, steam engines, first generation diesels, a variety of industries including but not only grain, cattle, coal mines, meat works, timber industry, and even some limited passenger depots. The route is built using TANE SP3 beta version, and has taken into account compatibility with TRS2019 due out later this year. This has been achieved by contributing as an active member of the TRS2019 Beta team testing TRS2019 as I speak. Railroads that are linked either by Interchange tracks or staging yards are Pensylvania Railroad, C & O, B & O and N & W. In this episode I am featuring a status review of what has been achieved in the month since I started, but future videos will include tutorials on test tracks used to confirm things such as signals, track laying, mixing textures and creating some unusual scenes in places as well as every aspect of building a complex route of commercial quality. I have already started making tutorials on all route building aspects that will be uploaded in coming weeks and months.
