Chaves | Ultramar | Sangre Street | Flipper I want to say a huge thank you to John for sending me over this and other knives(that yyou will see in due course), he is also in instagram so go give him a follow and he is a great guy with a wonderful taste in knives ! @heavyironsharpsteel This Chaves knife is absolutely amazing for the money, you get s35vn steel, titanium all round including back spacer and that all important and recognisable pocket clip ! I do love titanium as it adds that bit off extra weight and a lot more strength vs stainless steel or g10 ect. What is also cool about this is that Chaves went to reate to get these mass produced, and i think that was a great choice, as the fit and finish and materials are just outstanding quality ! This is one of those knives that if you look after it properly it will last you a lifetime for sure ! Hence why i would have no doubt in my mind about getting one if one ever did pop on the market. John you know where i am if you ever let this one go ! The only thing i would have to quibble about is the logo on the blade, however it is just a case of the lesser of two evils. As if you have the logo all showing when the blade is closed then it would look wonkey when the blade was open. So would be happy to put up with that, especially for such a user of a knife. Like i said in this video this was previously owned via slick slicers, of which i believe is when the ano got done on the Ti. So if he would be so kind as to let us know who or when or how that would be pretty cool ! The s35vn is a steel i have used before and it is more than capable of holding an edge for a fair while, as proven by this knife right here. John diddnt sharpen these knives before they came to me and he has been using them before he sent them, so that to me is classed as a wonderful steel for an everyday user in my particular job anyway !
