Briar Pipe #5: Valentine Heart ❤️ | Handmade Briar Pipe Build

This pipe is a special one. Our daughter picked out the pink stem material and had the original idea to shape this pipe as a heart for Valentine’s Day. What started as a simple suggestion turned into a full build that became one of the most meaningful pipes I’ve made so far. As the perfect complement to the pipe, she also crocheted a matching pipe pouch with heart-shaped adornments just for this one, making it a true father-daughter collaboration from start to finish. The briar itself had incredible grain that fit the heart shape perfectly, flowing naturally with the curves of the bowl. In this video, I walk through the entire process, from shaping and refining the form, to fitting the stem, finishing the briar, and bringing the pipe to its final polish. Every pipe in this series is handmade, one of a kind, and built slowly with intention.
