Welcome to our Ford Transit build series episode 8! 🚐 In this video we go over our van build pre-wiring. Before you begin pre-wiring, there are a few basic things you need to know about electrical systems before you get started. The first, is how to calculate wire gauge size. We show you exactly how to do this in the video and used this calculator from Far Out Ride: https://faroutride.com/wire-calc/ You might also want to know how to wire a 3 way switch (so your lights can be turned on and off from two different locations). We go over two different ways to do this and provide diagrams for pre-wiring in the video.
