You'll find plenty of videos all about how wonderful living in Vancouver is. There are even more videos about how it's the absolute worst and you should never move to Vancouver. This isn't one of those videos. I've realized that whether you love or hate living in Vancouver has a lot to do with perspective. Where you come from, what you've experienced and what expectations you have. This video is all about trying to help you avoid moving to Vancouver if it's not going to work for you. I've spent 18 years helping 100s of families move to Vancouver, and I've lived in Vancouver my entire life…I've had thousands of conversations with people over my lifetime about the good and the bad, and seen countless successes and many disasters. These are the people that should NOT move to Vancouver. If you identify as one of the groups of people I describe in this video you'll most likely end up hating living in Vancouver and you should (after some careful self-reflection) move on to a city/place that would suit you better.
