(ORGMusicVideos) A message from Josh: I heard that someone mentioned in the comments of one of the previous videos that I reminded them of Jeremy Enigk. Well, this is in direct response to that person. Spot on. I had a tape of Jeremy Enigk live at the Bumbershoot Festival (if memory serves) in the mid-90’s, right around “Return Of The Frog Queen," and I became obsessed with this song. I don’t think he ever recorded it. I’ve realized over the years that Jeremy had a profound influence on the way I sing, and the way words come out of my mouth when I’m singing. I’ve always loved his music. This is as close to 16-year-old me as you’ll get - me playing this song. One of the first times I ever played live, opening for Maria McKee with Bob Forrest, I sheepishly played this song at soundcheck. It was the first time I heard my voice though a PA at a venue of any size. It was the Hollywood Athletic Club, maybe '97 or ’98. I usually start strumming it once every few months and thought I’d play it on tour. I saw Jeremy at a furniture factory Downtown LA last year. It was the first time I’d seen him play in ages and it was absolutely fantastic. It took me right back. I bought a record from him. I hope he doesn’t mind me playing this song. J...
