RIP Hector Chavera III aka Kolor Blynde (4/08/84 - 12/30/08). We lost "Kolor Blynde" at such a young age, 24. He was my partna on stage and with my career with my manager Rolando Cuellar. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of Kolor Blynde, his advice and all those flights we took together and road trips for my shows, those memories will last forever, "Thinkin Bout U". I was 17 years old and not having him in my life those following couple of years were some of my hardest times in my life including when my parents got divorce when I was around 6 years old. He was the big brother I didn't have growing up and someone who believed in my career from literally day 1. Through challenges and struggles I use life experiences to help me become the person I am today and tomorrow. I continue this music journey in loving memory of Kolor Blynde. You will never be forgotten and I hope I'm making you proud! I remember when I first showed Kolor Blynde the demo production to the song that later would become "Thinkin Bout U". I was only 15 years old and that look in his face when he heard the demo said it all. I'm honored to have received the blessings and permission of his mother Momma Blynde and his music publisher/manager to record my voice on "Thinkin Bout U" to help bring greater awareness of the song and the late Kolor Blynde. I'm honored and special thanks to Mickael for taking my demo production and bringing it to life with the final masterpiece "Thinkin Bout U"!
