This is a 4 1/2 inch burrell Agricultural to the live steam models design. In this series of building it I will be documenting the build that is done by me and my dad. This is a single cylinder engine to keep the build simple, make sure to comment any tips or questions. In this episode we machine the slow gear to go on the second shaft. Firstly we machine bath sides of the gear on the lathe before moving to the mill. on the mill we drill some weight reduction holes as well as the holes to bolt this gear to the fast gear.
