Building a Blue Guitar with the Most Unusual Fretboard Wood

I built this guitar for a friend from my local church. It’s got a bright blue open-grain finish, lots of chrome hardware, and one of the most unusual fretboards I’ve ever worked with. The specs weren’t mine — he picked everything. I just tried to make it all come together. In this video, I walk through the full build: shaping the body, figuring out how to work with that fretboard, experimenting with stain, dialing in the hardware, and putting it all together start to finish. It turned out better than I expected — and a little different than anything I’ve built before.
