The Milky Way Galaxy

In this video I discuss our home galaxy, the Milky Way. I first finish describing some of the remnants of star deaths, namely gamma-ray bursts and compact object mergers. When black holes and neutron stars merge they generate gravitational waves that humanity has been able to detect for the first time in the past ten years. I then go on to describe the features of our galaxy and where and how star formation occurs.
