A demonstration of how to remove FreezeTeq NFS2 spacers from a stacked pallet using a Toppy pallet inverter. First, the pallet is placed in the pallet inverter and locked into place. Then the pallet is flipped over on the side to slightly separate the layers, and the operator removes the freezer spacer from the stack. The operator can easily loosen or tighten the inverter's grip on the stack during the removal process. When the spacers have been removed, the pallet is flipped to an upright position, with all stacked boxes still in place. Using spacers when cooling or freezing food products is a smart way to lower energy usage. The spacers are designed to allow improve airflow between the stacked layers, making the products cool or freeze faster. Using spacers combined with better fan control in a cooling or freezing chamber, it's possible to lower energy usage by more than 50%.
