I love this song and this version is just stunning - its the King of Cool, the legendary Bobby Darin singing Artificial Flowers live. Bobby was inevitably compared regularly to Sinatra and even Darin himself made the link including a famous bold statement but I never saw Sinatra s(w)ing like this. I hope you love this performance. Here Bobby swings another of those songs that might, by others, be delivered in a less rousing way. I love Bobby Darin's music. I don't think there will ever be another like him. I am so glad so many people are enjoying this video and the comments sent to me. This guy is, was and will always be, a legend in my eyes. His music is timeless and I often refer to his recordings as pop perfection. His performance here eclipses anything his contemporaries ever achieved - swagger & arrogance but in a nice way. Thanks for keeping the memory of Bobby Darin alive!
